Assalamualaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh,
Many of the prominent leaders were used to be locked behind bars. I wonder if this kind of solitary helps one becomes stronger and reflective in their thinking? Or does this give them time to plan and think what to do to rectify the chaotic situation one was in? Maybe it would be great to read the autobiography of some of these historical leaders who had been sentenced to jail at least once in their lifetime.
Great examples like Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Ghandi, Malcolm X, etc.
In Malaysia, we have our very own Anwar Ibrahim, Lim Guan Eng, etc.
Maybe it's not a good idea to jail KJ, in case he become like Anwar after 16th Sept. We could just make him pay the fine if he was found guilty of corruption and then declare bankruptcy. What about Mr. & Mrs. Najib?
ALLAHU'alam.
Wassalam.

Salam bro,
You've been gone for quite a while; I pray, you and your family are in the blessings of Allah s.w.t.
Re: '...behind bars'. Nope, we won't put them behind bars...we just execute them, lol!
