Anwar-Ku Li

Assalamualaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh,

We have 2 teams for UMNO:

Pak Lah - Najib

Najib - Muhyiddin

After listening to a few talks from Anwar and Ku Li, I think they are really looking at the same issues and want to bring changes to similar areas like economy, democracy, New Malaysia, etc. Why not let both of them join into a team and let all the MPs decide where they would like to swing during the no-confidence vote on 13th Oct 2008?

According to the constitution, the PM should be the one who wins the most votes among the MPs in the parliament. If the MPs favour the team of Pak Lah - Najib, let them be; but if they favour the team of Anwar - Ku Li, we will see a new Malaysia. Let's not talk about defecting, jumping or frogging! It's not about which party you are from, it is about who are the best leaders that can actually save the country. If you are an MP who care about your people in your constituency, speak for the people because there is no way that the people would not want to have a better financial status and life which Anwar - Ku Li are offering. Will the leaders, politicians and people look beyond the boundary of political party and accept something like this just for the sake of saving the country?

RM10/per day per prisoner

Assalamualaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh,

It has been announced that there will be a proposal to increase the price of the meals for a prisoner for a day from RM5.80 to RM10.00. Wow! Is that better to live in the prison or starve living in the rural areas where the government has failed to develop? So, this is also a part of the tax payers' money goes...

Pure arrogance and undemocratic

Assalamualaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh,

On Zaid Ibrahim's resignation, Pak Lah said:

"it does not depend on any one particular person to the extent that it will fall or be weak"

Listen to the way he said it here.

Furthermore, tell me if this is democratic:

“This is what happens when I allow ministers to speak. But it is good because the rakyat will know there are people in the Government who do speak out on the people’s opinions on certain issues. It can be a healthy democracy but it will not affect the position of the Government,”

Slow:

He just read the resignation a day after it has been submitted. Consider the letter as urgent, urgent matter should be taken into attention immediately. What about this emergency parliament session?

Clever Pak Lah

Assalamualaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh,

I don't know if anyone will say or ever realise how clever Pak Lah is, or maybe it's the ideas from his son-in-law or 4th floor boys. Anyway, to make Najib the new Minister of Finance is basically hurting Najib political career. Why? First of all, the job of the Minister of Finance is to make sure that the country doesn't go bankrupt by making sure that the Budget is feasible and the country economy grows ever stronger. Have you ever seen the new Budget presented by Pak Lah just before the end of the parliamentary sitting last month? The next sitting will be to debate about the Budget which will definitely invite a lot of criticisms. Who will be there to shield Pak Lah? Najib.

Then, the world economy is going down. Big companies, especially banks and insurance companies are either closing down, selling or merging, like what happened to Lehman Brothers, AIG and so on. If these big companies are not doing well at all, how can the Malaysian companies survive the economy tsunami around the world? Even if the Minister of Finance has all the money to bail out big companies in Malaysia, these companies will still suffer from the world economy turmoil. Who will get the headache and blame? Najib.

That's why the swap is essential and has to be done IMMEDIATELY. That's how immediate it goes. Now Pak Lah is the Minister of Defence - controlling the armies. Will he employ these forces for his own benefits like how many are saying that Najib (the former Minister of Defence) had employed the forces to blow up his enemy? One thing for sure is that when you are the Minister of Defence and you always give benefits to the forces through your ministry, the forces will show 'obedience' to you even if the real Chief of Army is the Agong.

That's our Pak Lah and pity for Najib who thinks that this swap is confirming the transition of power of the number first post SOON. Najib credibility will be tested soon and if he failed, he shall be ousted SOON. Where is Rosmah nowadays?

Women of Malaysia

Assalamualaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh,

Whenever the husbands fall, the wives stood up and became stronger than ever. That's the Malaysian women. No doubt that Wan Azizah is one of them, along with the wives of the ISA detainees. Today, we will witness another woman who used to fight behind her husband and now will stand for her husband - Marina Lee. Read her statement. Sound familiar? Was that similar to what Wan Azizah said 10 years ago for Anwar?

ALLAHU'alam.

p/s: women have more advantage including gaining sympathy and supports.

So, it is not UMNO that started the MERDEKA process

Assalamualaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh,

After watching this award-winning and outstanding documentary on Hartal - 10 years before Merdeka in Malaysia in 1947 posted on the People's Parliament, it was actually the WILL OF PEOPLE that brought the independence for Malaya, not a single party - UMNO - as has been 'educated' through history book in schools and UMNO who keeps on chanting that those who oppose UMNO are ungrateful for what UMNO had done to free the country. Again, it is not UMNO that brought Merdeka to the country, it is the PEOPLE - the multiracial and united PEOPLE. The slogan for UMNO has always been 'Hidup Melayu' and not 'Merdeka'. MERDEKA is only chanted by the PEOPLE who supported the Perlembagaan Rakyat opposing the Perlembagaan Federation which was supported by UMNO.

This is a documentary, telling the truth, certified by international film body, and made by our own locals:

The issues at that time were the same as now:

- The British was too arrogant, Rakyat hated it (sound familiar? Yeah, UMNO is arrogant at the moment)
- Rakyat thought that they would never be able to rise without the British (same to some Malays who think that without UMNO, the Malays will die of hunger)
- The British feared that when Rakyat came to realise that they can rule themselves, they would no longer need the British, so a lot of propaganda was spread through the pro-British newspaper (sound familiar again? That's exactly what the mainstream media nowadays do and that's why the blogs are spreading consciousness to the Rakyat)
- The Hartal took place in 1974 with a huge success, but the British totally ignored the voice of the Rakyat (look at Reformasi, Bersih, Hindraf - what did UMNO do?)
- The British announced a state of Emergency and arrested thousands of Rakyat who protested the British and demand Merdeka 10 years before 1957 (this was what exactly UMNO did after all these rallies in Malaysia, ever since the 1970s, today we saw a few were detained under ISA - a colonial law made by the British)

The question is, will the Rakyat win this time for a real MERDEKA after 16th September 2008 from UMNO like we did from the British? Same game, same rules, can't they be more creative? No wonder there is Sodomy II!

ISA

Assalamualaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh,

If ISA can be used to detain three Malaysians (public and non-public figures) in less than 12 hours, WITHOUT TRIAL for 60 days, NO CHANCE TO DEFEND THEMSELVES and DENIED the RIGHT of a normal human being, let me tell you that if this ISA is not demolished, the same thing can happen to you and me too! Please urge your MPs to act sensibly. Either support the change of the law or the change of the government.

So, who's next? Koh Tsu Koon? Liow Tiong Lai? Ahamd Ismail? Khir Toyo? Utusan journalist? (err... they are all BNs, unless Gerakan & MCA are pulling out of BN) Anwar? Lim Guan Eng? Lim Kit Siang? Nik Aziz? Hadi? Karpal? Syed Husin? Tian Chua? Saifudin? - yet another Operasi Lalang.

ISA is used to prevent instability of the country - said Syed Hamid.

What? I thought ISA is creating instability of the country by detaining 3 Malaysians without trial and inciting fear among the Malaysians. Tell me, do you feel the country unstable today because of these 3 Malaysians or the government which resorts to ISA to survive?

ALLAHU'alam.
