Mahathir quits UMNO

Assalamualaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh,

If you are not a member of an organisation, you basically have no right to do anything about that organisation. Have you thought about this before you took that challenge of Ismail?

If you demanded Pak Lah to quit the position of the president of UMNO, your voice is not a member's voice. If you demanded Pak Lah to quit the chairman of BN, again your are not the member of any of the component parties (MIC, perhaps?). If you demanded Pak Lah to quit the PM position, you are only speaking as a Rakyat now, timid and unheard, why not join the Pakatan Rakyat?

So, you can descend from the public now since you are no one at the moment until you said you will join back UMNO after Pak Lah quits.

Btw, what is your principle of Chipsmore biscuit - kejap ada kejap tak ada - that you think can resolve UMNO's problem? Maybe you want to give Pak Lah a peaceful mind to run UMNO and the country until December. I bet Pak Lah must be jumping up and down at home when he got the news of your resignation. As a president of an organisation, he has to take care of the welfare of all the members. Since this stubborn and difficult member opts to withdraw his membership, won't a president be happy?

Anyway, I heard that your membership number is 000 001, so you are the first member of UMNO BARU which is formed in 1988. You guys are younger than the rest of the component parties in BN, how come you guys still lead BN? If you are in the REAL UMNO that fought for independence since 1946, surely member number 000 001 is the late Onn Jaafar, right? So, happy 20th anniversary to UMNO BARU!

You are making this whole thing easy now for Pak Lah by quitting. Is this your objective?

ALLAHU'alam.

Wassalam.

p/s: is Mukhriz going to join this too or is he too afraid to loose his chance to compete in the UMNO Youth? Let's see...

Salam bro,

Well said! It seems almost everyone else has forgotten about umno baru. Btw, Mukhris told the media he will not be joining his dad's footsteps.

Another thing, I think this might just be a ploy to help strengthen - rather than weaken - that umno baru. I don't have the input yet, but I believe it could be. Wallahualam.
